This season, World Bank C has yet again proven that so much can be grown on a single rooftop! One of our biggest donation roofs, thousands of pounds of vegetables and fruits were harvested and donated to Dreaming Out Loud- an organization centered around ending food inequity and insecurity within DC. From kale to peppers, and many other fresh veggies in between, World Bank C has provided a paradise for our pollinator partners such as ladybugs and dragonflies, grown a greener roof to cool off the summer heat, and has helped provide families within the District with fresh, local food options. Here’s to another year!
