IFC has provided yet another year of successful growing on the rooftop garden and planters! From the flourishing bed of mint to the tall sunflowers looking down upon the rows of collards and peppers, the gardens were able to provide hundreds of pounds of food for donations. Many families in the District were able to enjoy the fresh produce grown this season at IFC, which provided both greens and fruit grown as locally as possible. Special thanks to our pollinators, bees, ladybugs, and butterflies alike, who could be seen putting in some hard work in the garden to help our plants grow. Looking forward to more seasons to come!
