The Farm at Halley Rise Spring ‘25 Update
Spring has truly arrived at Halley RIse! We’ve just moved milkweed into the meadow, creating a welcoming habitat for monarch butterflies as they make their remarkable migration. Around the fruit trees, resilient cornflowers that overwintered are now blooming beautifully—a rare and welcome sight. Over in Phase Two by the parking garage, our asparagus fronds are reaching skyward, quietly storing energy below for future harvests. Culinary herbs are thriving and ready to be picked, and all around the garden, berries are beginning to show, teasing us with the promise of summer sweetness.
Farmer Amanda has been hard at work this spring getting the farm planted and ready for growing season!
If you see Amanda in the farm this year, say hi!
