Carlyle Gateway May ‘25 Hive Update
The rooftop hives at Carlyle Gateway continued to expand this May as the bees keep bringing in a bounty of pollen and nectar from beautiful Alexandria. The northernmost hive is currently storing and curing their honey harvest into the top-most box, and the queen is continuing to grow the colony–timing her egg laying with the next major flower bloom. The second hive is a little bit behind its next door neighbors, but the queen and her workers are quickly growing their colony! Both hives received their May treatment of organic pest management controls, which should allow them to focus on building their honey reserves and tending to their young.
Keep an eye out for additional boxes being added to the hives as the colony's grow!
