1500 K Spring ‘26 Hive Update
Notes from beekeeper james
The bees at 1500 K emerged from a long winter raring to go! By the time of the first major blooms of the season, the colony's estimated 15,000 overwintered workers got straight to collecting pollen and nectar in downtown DC. The colony has quickly filled frames of honey, and will continue to do so through the major nectar flow that begins to taper off in June.
