The Garden at Steptoe & Johnson
The garden at Steptoe & Johnson combines aesthetic flower and herb plantings along the outdoor dining space, with a veggie and herb garden on the south side of the roof. Produce harvested is utilized by the adjacent dining facilities to create a true farm-to-table loop 100 feet in the air in downtown DC.
Spring 2023 Update
We are excited to welcome the fourth season of gardening on the roof of Steptoe. We have been busy this April, revamping the planters and getting ready to plant warm season vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, and basil.
