GREEN ROOF GARDEN

The Garden at EDENS Union Market

Opened in 2022, the garden at EDENS Union Market supplies fresh produce to the EDENS offices as well as local non-profit partner Dreaming Out Loud. The farm was built by incorporating the existing sedum as walking rows, creating an incredible density of green, with beautiful pops of color from the food and flowers. In its first year, the garden grew over 1,000 lbs of food, providing an incredible benefit to the local community. In addition to vegetable crops such as eggplant, chard, kale, and peppers, the garden hosts beautiful flowers as well - the sunflowers and marigolds can be seen walking Fourth Street in the summer. Hard to find a better view of Union Market than here!
