The Garden at 799 9th Street
The 799 9th Street Garden was opened in 2023 in partnership with Brookfield Properties, converting a once vacant rooftop ballast area into a beautiful urban garden. The garden planted with veggie crops such as kale, chard, eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes and herbs such as lavender, thyme, and rosemary. Produce harvested is set out for tenants weekly during the June-October harvest season, with any excess donated to local non-profit partner Dreaming Out Loud.
