The Capital Gallery Garden Spring‘25 Update

The garden at Capitol Gallery has been busy with activity this spring as Up Top Acres farmers prepared the site to host another season of growing produce on the roof! The perennial herbs have emerged from winter with fresh new growth while crews have planted out the full suite of kale, collard greens, sweet peppers and eggplant. Thanks to our partnership with BXP, all of the produce grown on site will once again be donated to our food pantry partner Dreaming Out Loud, who is working on expanding fresh, nutritious food to underserved communities in DC.
