800 17th Garden Spring ‘25 Update

It’s an exciting time for the Farm at 800 17th Street! The iconic sunflowers are back, volunteering themselves across the garden beds, and they are joined by our crowd-pleasing kale, collard greens, and swiss chard. As nighttime temperatures have increased, peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant have found their homes alongside the greens. Keep an eye on the space, lots of new and exciting blooms to come!

These beautiful flowers are pea shoots! We plant peas as our cover crop for the winter months which help keep the soil nutrient dense for the spring
