The 2025 season of the garden on top of the Capital Gallery building was a tremendous success! We were able to increase the amount of produce harvested by a third compared to last year. 100% of the produce grown on the roof was donated to local non-profit partner Dreaming Out Loud, serving food-insecure residents throughout Washington, DC. In addition to our crops, tenants enjoyed the sights and smells of our impressive lavender bushes and a variety of culinary herbs throughout the garden.
We’re looking forward to growing and donating even more produce next year, and providing tenants a beautiful space to take in the views of the city.
