Crops Are Here!
The heat-loving favorites are rolling in, eggplant, cucumbers, peppers, and basil are all producing great yields at the Harvest Tables this summer. None of it happens without help though: bees and other pollinators have been buzzing from bloom to bloom all season, doing the essential work that makes every harvest possible!

1015 Half St yet again wows us with its ability to produce day in and day out. Our core farm, we love seeing everyone in the building and providing the huge harvests at tables every week! This year, we have worked hard to add even more fun things to the table! Different types of hot peppers, zucchini, and plenty of spring onions add to the already full table each week. This year, the eggplants are showing off big time with over 100lbs every harvest table (tell me you’ve seen the table sagging under their weight too). The bounty at 1015 doesn’t just stop at the harvest table this year- we’ve partnered up with DC Food Rescue this year to make nearly weekly harvests for donation to the food banks in DC. We’ve been able to donate nearly 500lbs of sweet peppers, hot peppers, greens, and more to them in just the past few months with help from this farm. We’re so pleased to say that the farm at 1015 is still kicking and is feeding so many different families and people throughout our favorite city!
