RAISED PLANTER BEDS

The Garden at 799 9th Street

The garden at 799 9th Street NW was opened in 2023 with Brookfield Properties, converting a once vacant rooftop ballast area into a beautiful urban garden. In this first year, the garden will be planted with veggie crops such as kale, chard, eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes. Produce harvested is set out for tenants weekly during the June-October harvest season, with any excess donated to local non-profit partner Dreaming Out Loud.
