Raised Planter Beds
The 505 9th Street Garden
Installed in April 2026, this project transformed unused ballast space into what will be a thriving green space high above the city. We've built planting rows that will support a pollinator garden, perennial herbs, and a lush vegetable garden, all designed to benefit both the local ecosystem and the building's community.
From June through October, Up Top Acres farmers will harvest fresh vegetables such as kale, peppers, and cucumbers and culinary herbs such as basil, rosemary, and thyme weekly, offering tenants the chance to take home seasonal abundance straight from their own rooftop.
