Crops Are Here!
The heat-loving favorites are rolling in, eggplant, cucumbers, peppers, and basil are all producing great yields at the Harvest Tables this summer. None of it happens without help though: bees and other pollinators have been buzzing from bloom to bloom all season, doing the essential work that makes every harvest possible!

The garden on the roof of the Warner Building has impressed in its second year, and tenants have been able to take home a share of the produce at our monthly harvest tables this summer! Since our first event, the hearty greens stems of kale, collards and rainbow chard have wowed tenants, while the culinary herbs from the patio flower boxes have delighted home chefs. In mid-summer fruiting crops like eggplant, cucumbers and peppers joined the mix at the harvest table. This small but mighty garden continues to impress those that visit the rooftop oasis and the monthly table alike.
What’s your favorite part about summer in this garden?
My favorite thing about this site is that it punches above its weight. It may look like a small growing space, but the plants here produce an impressive bounty!
