World Bank IFC Garden Spring ‘25 Update

The garden at the International Finance Corporation has returned to life after a lengthy winter. Up Top Acres crews have replaced and spruced up perennials on the patio, and have fully planted out the garden with sweet peppers, eggplant, kale and collard greens. All of the produce grown on site will once again be donated to our food pantry partner Dreaming Out Loud, who is working on expanding fresh, nutritious food to underserved communities in DC.

These kale starts have already put on lots of growth in their first month in the IFC garden

The spring rains have made for happy plants!
