1500 K Garden 2025 Recap

The first growing season at 1500 K was an incredible success! This rooftop garden produced copious amounts of vegetables and herbs, totaling over 1,400 pounds, or over 15,000 servings. From tender leafy greens like rainbow chard and kale to juicy tomatoes and sweet peppers, the bounty from this garden delighted tenants at the weekly harvest tables. In addition to the vegetable crops, bright orange marigolds helped bring in beneficial insects and lent their warm color to the garden.

We are looking forward to continuing to share the harvest with tenants of 1500 K next season!
